Born in Madrid and based in southern Sweden for almost two decades, I live between cultures, languages and musical traditions — and bring them all into my work.
MY VOICE
For me, music is all about connection: with the audience, with fellow musicians and dancers, and with the moment itself. I began singing zarzuela as a teenager and discovered flamenco later in life, spending extended periods in Spain learning from its artists and immersing myself in the tradition.
I’m a self-taught cantaora, having learned by listening, singing and doing. My roots are in tradition, but my voice is very much my own — heartfelt, playful and alive.
bEYOND THE STAGE
Alongside music, I work in communication, photography and cultural projects. My experience includes working with Malmö City Theatre and Lund University, as well as teaching Media & Communication and Gender Studies at university level.
Through photography, I capture live music, cultural events and the moments that happen on and around the stage. I also collaborate with artists, venues and cultural organisations to bring creative projects to life.
Today, I bring these worlds together through Pelayo Lind Music — combining music, communication and production to bring art and culture closer to people.

Through performances, collaborations with fellow musicians and dancers, and teaching, I bring music to life and create meaningful connections between artists, cultures and audiences.

I develop and coordinate music and cultural projects, from concerts and events to collaborations between artists and organisations. I enjoy bringing people and ideas together, creating opportunities and turning creative visions into meaningful experiences.
