Singer and communication expert
Born and raised in Madrid, Spain, I have lived in Skåne, Southern Sweden, for almost two decades.
I carry with me a delightful blend of different cultures, languages, and musical styles, both professionally and personally. This mix is seen as a great asset in my artistry by myself and my fellow musicians.
My SONG is driven by the presence I feel through the connection with the audience's gaze and with the other musicians and dancers on stage. My musical journey began in my teenage years with zarzuela, a Spanish traditional form of musical comedy, and I didn't reach flamenco until adulthood. In my adult life, I have spent medium and long periods in Spain, studying flamenco.
Without any prior musical training, Irene is a modern-day "cantaora" with traditional methods, learning everything by ear, just as many "cantaores" did in the past. That's why my singing is fresh and heartfelt; it follows the musical rules of each style but also forges its own unique, vibrant, and lively path.

My COMMUNICATION SKILLS: I have a long professional career in communication and photography at Malmö City Theatre or Lund University, as well as a extensive work experience as a university lecturer within Media and Communication and Gender Studies.
All my previous work experiences have helped me grow and have shaped me into the person I am today. At Pelayo Lind Music, I believe in communication as a bridge between music and the audience. My goal is to spread music so that it reaches more people, whether through concerts, workshops, and courses, as a manager or as a producer—both my music and that of other artists. More. music for the world!
